About

Software Engineer · CTO. Tehran.

I’m Mohammad Hossein Taher, a software engineer from Tehran. Since 2016 I’ve gone from cutting website templates with Gulp and Jade to leading engineering as CTO — for a home-care healthcare product in Finland, an AI dubbing platform, and a blockchain product. My backend is Go with DDD and hexagonal architecture; my frontend is React and Next.js. I’ve mentored juniors on weekends since my first job, run a frontend bootcamp, and I’m starting a podcast. I write case studies that include the part that went wrong.

Front Masters, the Persian frontend bootcamp I ran, went from HTML to deployment in three cohorts — around 40 students, roughly a dozen of whom were hired as junior frontend developers. After that the teaching moved to video: about 30 Persian tutorials on YouTube and Aparat, including “Go for frontend developers” and “Docker for frontend devs”. The full story is on TaherSoft.
